Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri cried on Monday as he said goodbye to his longtime friend Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo. The burial took place in Ilaro, Ogun State.
Quadri was among many from the Nollywood film industry who came to Ilaro to pay their respects to the late actor.
Yinka Quadri and Ogogo had a strong friendship. Quadri was one of the colleagues who supported Hassan during his illness.
Veteran actor Jide Kosoko, actress Ireti Osayemi, Femi Adebayo, and other Nollywood stars were also at the funeral to honor Hassan.
Reports say Hassan passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 66. He had been fighting stage-four cancer.
