Zadok Yohanna made history as the fourth-youngest Nigerian to play in the Premier League. He debuted for Brighton & Hove Albion during their 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Yohanna started the match on the bench. He came on for Mats Wieffer 12 minutes before the end of the game.

Brighton scored first after eight minutes. Maxim de Cuyper got an own goal from Victor Lindelof. Ten minutes later, de Cuyper added another goal with an easy finish.

Aston Villa struggled as Jack Hinshelwood found the net twice in two minutes. Brighton was leading 4-0 when Villa's Joao Gomes received a red card. Gomes played just 40 minutes in his first game.

The 19-year-old Yohanna joined Brighton from Swedish club AIK this summer. Brighton paid an initial £24.2 million, which could go up to £26 million with bonuses.

At 19 years and 55 days old, Yohanna is now the fourth-youngest Nigerian in the Premier League. He follows Victor Anichebe, who debuted at 17 years and 364 days, Kelechi Iheanacho at 17 years and 330 days, and Shola Ameobi at 18 years and 333 days.
