2027: Bayelsa APC Ready to Mobilize for Elections

The All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State is sure of its grassroots strength as it prepares for the 2027 general elections. The party believes its membership and network are strong enough to carry out their campaigns.

Warman Weri Ogoriba, the state chairman of the party, shared this in a statement on Saturday. He was responding to recent political changes as the 2027 elections approach.

Ogoriba pointed out that the APC has set up structures in all eight local government areas and political wards. He emphasized that the party will work on improving its organization and mobilizing voters before the elections.

His remarks came when the “Rainbow Coalition” was being formed. Also, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, claimed he had the political structures to win Rivers and Bayelsa states for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

The APC chairman assured that the party would keep its focus on its internal organization. He promised to engage stakeholders and grow the party's membership across Bayelsa.

He said, "The task before the party is to remain organised, disciplined and committed to the collective objective of advancing the APC and supporting its candidates at all levels."

Ogoriba expressed confidence that the party's existing structures and dedicated members, along with grassroots networks, would build a strong campaign for 2027.

He encouraged party members and supporters to stay united and committed. He assured them that the state leadership would keep working to gather support in all communities.

Ogoriba also reaffirmed that the APC leadership in Bayelsa is committed to supporting Tinubu and other party candidates for the 2027 elections.
