Super Eagles midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, is about to leave Inter Milan. The club has agreed to sell him to Serie A team Monza, as reported by PUNCH Sports Extra.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Monza will pay €7.5m for the midfielder. The deal includes a 10 percent sell-on clause. This shows that Inter Milan believes he can still make a bigger move in the future.

Akinsanmiro's future was unclear since he returned to Inter at the end of last season. He spent last season on loan at Pisa but could not save them from being relegated from Italy's top league. Pisa chose not to buy him permanently, even though they had an €8m buy option.

In recent weeks, there were rumors that the 21-year-old might move to the German Bundesliga. But now, his transfer to Monza is confirmed.

Inter signed Akinsanmiro from Nigerian club Remo Stars in 2024. This is a rare pathway from the Nigeria Professional Football League to a major European club, thanks to his early talent.

However, he had limited chances at San Siro. This pushed him into loan spells at Sampdoria and then Pisa. Now, the move to Monza is seen as a good chance for him to settle and grow his career.

Monza is also facing their own challenges. They just returned to Italy's top league and might have to fight to avoid being relegated again.

With all the deal details sorted, Akinsanmiro could finalize his move to Monza by the end of this week or by next week at the latest.
