Anthony Joshua is using a strange stretching machine as he gets ready for his big fight against Tyson Fury.
The two-time heavyweight champion posted a video of his unique workout at his gym in Dubai.
Joshua was strapped to a modern Pravilo machine. This machine stretched his arms and legs in a starfish-like shape and rotated his body.
British media, including the Daily Mail and The Sun, have called this workout "torture" because of the painful positions Joshua had to endure.
In the Instagram video, Joshua wrote, “When the instructor says, relax and breathe.”
The Pravilo is a machine for stretching and conditioning, linked to Slavic and Russian training methods.
At 36 years old, Joshua is getting ready for the expected fight with Tyson Fury, another top British heavyweight.
This fight is likely to happen at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in December. There were earlier plans for the fight to take place in New York, but those plans have changed.
Joshua has fought in Cardiff two times before. He beat Carlos Takam in 2017 and Joseph Parker in 2018.
The upcoming fight against Fury will be the first time these two famous British heavyweights face off against each other.
