American boxing star Ray Mercer is coming to Lagos for the second season of The Street Rumble. This grassroots boxing event is set for 13 December at Maracana Square in Ajegunle.
Match Maker Sports International, the group organizing the event, announced Brila Media as its official media partner for this edition.
Mercer, who won a gold medal at the 1988 Olympics and was a former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) heavyweight champion, will be a special guest at ringside.
His presence is expected to bring an international touch to the event. The Street Rumble aims to promote upcoming boxing talents and give young fighters a chance to grow their careers.
This second season follows the first one held in April. It promises to showcase more grassroots boxing talent from Nigeria.
As part of the media partnership, Brila Media will cover the event. This includes interviews, promotional content, and stories about the fighters.

The partnership aims to increase the event’s reach and highlight boxers from Nigeria’s grassroots boxing communities.
Organisers will share more details about the fight card, ticket sales, broadcast coverage, participating fighters, and other special guests through the official channels of The Street Rumble and Match Maker Sports International.
