Dembélé calls Messi the best player ever

French forward Ousmane Dembélé has called Lionel Messi the best player he has ever seen. He praised the Argentine star's skill, even as he gets older.

“Lionel Messi is the best player I’ve ever seen,” Dembélé said. “He’s 38 but he’s still fantastic and dangerous. His quality never gets old,” he added.

Dembélé, who played with Messi at Barcelona and PSG, warned other teams not to take the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner lightly.

“We have to be all very careful. Leo can still win the World Cup,” he said.
