Frank Edoho says he won't marry again, enjoys being single

Renowned TV host and media figure Frank Edoho has said he has no plans to date or marry again. He calls his single life a “superpower.”

Edoho shared this on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday. This was in response to a user who commented on his choice to avoid giving marital advice to newlyweds Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth, known as Jarvis.

The conversation started when Edoho publicly chose not to give advice to the young couple. He said he knows “nothing about marriage” and could only pray for their relationship.

An X user with the handle #JJ27581708 analyzed Edoho’s careful approach. They wrote, “#frankedoho is being sincere. He knows a lot about marriage and knows many ways it can fail. However, knowing the psychology of Nigerians, he knows his advice will be marred, in their eyes, by his marital setbacks. Hopefully, Frank will find a woman who will show him true love.”

Edoho replied to the user, agreeing with their view on public perception of his past relationships. But he firmly rejected the thought of looking for love again.

“How wise of you. You are absolutely right about everything but that last part,” Edoho wrote.

“There’s a superpower that comes with being alone, and it’s beautiful. I’m definitely not finding any woman. Not ever.”

Edoho’s firm decision against remarriage comes after public scrutiny of his personal life and past marriage troubles.

PUNCH reported that Edoho’s first marriage to broadcaster Katherine Obiang ended in a separation years ago and attracted public attention at the time.

He later married Sandra Onyenucheya, but that relationship also faced issues, leading to a well-known separation.

Recently, Edoho spoke about the impact of his past relationships. He shared that he feels trauma from his marriage experiences and stated that he never wants a woman to be the reason for his death.
