Przemyslaw Frankowski has praised Victor Osimhen as a top striker. He believes Osimhen is among the best five forwards in football today. Frankowski compared the Nigerian’s strong determination to that of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, as reported by PUNCH Sports Extra.
Frankowski played alongside Osimhen at Galatasaray before moving on loan to Ligue 1 team Stade Rennais. He noted that Osimhen’s mental and physical readiness makes him stand out among the best players.
“Osimhen, a world-class striker, maybe in the top five. The way he is always prepared for the game, the hunger he has to score goals, is also impressive.
“I could go on and on about him,” Frankowski said in an interview with Onet.
Frankowski built a strong friendship with Osimhen when they played under coach Okan Buruk. Both players joined Galatasaray on loan during the 2024/2025 season before making their moves permanent.
Since joining Galatasaray, the 27-year-old has become a key player for the team. He has scored 59 goals and provided 16 assists in 74 games across all competitions. Last season, he finished with 22 goals and eight assists.
Osimhen has been linked to a move away from Galatasaray. Barcelona and Chelsea are among the clubs interested in him. However, he looks set to stay in Turkey for the upcoming season.
As the 2026/2027 season approaches, the Nigerian aims to continue his impressive scoring. Galatasaray hopes to maintain their dominance in the league and make a deeper run in European competitions.
