Inside Ronaldo and Georgina's Cozy Wedding in Portugal

Details and pictures from the small wedding of Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have come out.

The couple reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony in Portugal last week. This came a year after Ronaldo proposed to Rodríguez with an engagement ring that is said to be worth £3m.

Photos shared by Vogue on Sunday showed that the couple exchanged vows in the living room of their home in Cascais, Portugal.

Instead of throwing a big party with many celebrity guests, Ronaldo and Rodríguez chose to celebrate privately with their closest friends and family.

According to Vogue, the ceremony took place on August 11. This date marks the 10th anniversary of when the couple first met at a Gucci store in Madrid.

For the wedding, both wore Gucci outfits designed by Demna.

“It was exactly as I’d imagined it,” Rodríguez said about their wedding day.

The wedding sparked weeks of talk online, with many wondering about the date, place, and guest list.

But the couple kept things low-key, deciding to hold the ceremony at their home for this special day.

Their children also played an important role during the ceremony.

“The children know that our time belongs to them,” Rodríguez said.

She explained that both she and Ronaldo wanted their kids to learn “the value of having nothing and of having everything.”

“At our wedding, the children were the stars, just like they are every day,” she added.

On the topic of possibly having more kids, the couple said they have not ruled it out.

“I never say never,” Ronaldo said.

Rodríguez commented, “Another baby now would be too much at home. But when the youngest are 15 or 16, we’ll still be young, so why not? It’s true that I can’t imagine myself without young children, so we’ll see.”

The couple, together for about ten years, have built a big family while Ronaldo remains one of the biggest names in football.
