Sky Sports veteran Jeff Stelling has said Arsenal is the team to beat this season in the Premier League title race.
Stelling thinks Mikel Arteta’s team starts the season as favorites. He says their main rivals have not made enough changes to catch up.
The Gunners enter the new season after a great last campaign, where they won the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City and Manchester United.
They also made it to the UEFA Champions League final, but lost to Paris Saint-Germain.
Arteta has added new players to his squad during the transfer window. This move aims to help the team compete well both in the league and in Europe.
Speaking to talkSPORT on Monday, Stelling said, “For me, the challengers are not getting stronger.
“So at the moment, Arsenal, for me, are the clear, clear favourites in terms of the Premier League, but it’s a question of what they can do in Europe as well.”
