Guinness World Records has confirmed that a concert in Lagos, organised by Dapper Live & Artists, holds the record for the biggest orchestra for an Afrobeats performance.
The concert featured King Saheed Osupa, KS1 Malaika, and other Afrobeats stars. This record was announced on X on Tuesday, along with a video clip from the show.
In the post, Guinness World Records said, "Largest orchestra for an Afrobeats concert, 85 musicians by Dapper Live & Artists @DapperMusicEnt_. This attempt took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria in December 2025 and was staged as a live orchestral performance based on an Afrobeats composition.
"Led by a conductor, the concert included a lead singer, a choir, dancers, and 85 musicians performing together. The event showed how Afrobeats and orchestral music can blend," the post added.
The show, called Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience, took place on December 16, 2025.
It featured artists like T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee, and Dwillsharmony, alongside the Fuji stars.
The organisers shared the record on their Instagram page, saying Guinness World Records had reviewed and confirmed the concert.
They described the night as a mix of Afrobeats, Fuji, and orchestral music, noting that the aim was to make history.
