Lagos Rivals Face Off in Long-Awaited Derby

Inter Lagos will take on Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Sunday. This match marks the first top-flight Lagos derby in 10 years. Both teams are looking for their first points and first goals in the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Originally, this match was not supposed to be this important. A postponement involving Sporting Lagos and Ikorodu City in Matchday Two changed that. The venue was unavailable due to a political rally, making this meeting the derby fans have eagerly awaited.
