AC Milan forward Rafael Leão has said he might leave Serie A. He is keen to test himself in the Premier League or La Liga.
In an interview with SportTV on Friday, the Portugal international shared his wish for a new challenge outside Italy. He also spoke highly of two major leagues in Europe.
“I want a new challenge out of Serie A. I follow the Premier League with great attention,” Leão said.
He also mentioned that a move to Spain would be exciting for him. He believes his skills would fit well in either league.
“If I have the opportunity to play there or La Liga I would be really happy because my talent would be exalted there,” he added.
Leão did not confirm any plans to leave Milan. He admitted that his future is uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches.
“Let’s see what will happen this summer,” he said.
His comments might lead to new rumors about his future. Many top clubs in England and Spain have shown interest in him over the years.
Leão is a key player for Milan. He has made a name for himself as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents since joining the Rossoneri.
