Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, who is also the Presidential Candidate for the Allied People’s Movement, will kick off the party's state Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council on Friday.
A statement from the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, on Wednesday, revealed that the event will hold at 3:30 p.m. This will take place at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
According to the statement, Nureni Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, will take charge as the Oyo State Coordinator for the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign. Adeniran will also serve as the Director-General for the state Governorship Campaign Council.
Other members of the campaign team include Saheed Arowosaye, who is the former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government. He will be the Deputy State Coordinator for the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign. Hon. Demola Ojo, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, will act as the Deputy Director-General (South).
Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal will serve as Deputy Director-Generals for the Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts, respectively. Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo will be the Director of the Women’s Wing. Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, who was the former Special Assistant on Youth matters to Governor Makinde, will take on the role of Director for the Youth Wing.
