Nigerian Stars Davido, Burna Boy, Rema, Ayra Starr On 2026 World Cup Soundtrack

Four of Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema, and Ayra Starr, will be part of the official soundtrack for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

FIFA Sound announced the album ahead of the tournament. The World Cup will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

FIFA World Cup confirmed the lineup in a post shared on X on Tuesday. They revealed the artistes on the official album set to drop on June 5.

“The squad for the Official #FIFAWorldCup 2026™ Album is here! Pre-save for the album release on June 5. Stay tuned for more to come 👀,” the organization wrote.

The tracklist released by FIFA Sound shows Rema, Davido, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy featuring alongside big names in global music. This highlights Nigeria’s growing presence on the world stage.

The album will come out through FIFA Sound and Universal Music on June 5. It will be available on major streaming platforms and in physical format.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19. It will have 48 teams competing in 104 matches over 39 days.

Mexico will play South Africa in the opening match at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11. Canada and the United States will start their matches a day later in Toronto and Los Angeles.

The final will be at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19.
