Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, has started a tour of important flashpoints in the state. This includes places like Edjekota Junction, Evwreni Junction, and Ohoro Junction. He visited these stop-and-search points along the expressway to check on security arrangements and talk to officers on duty.
During his tour on Saturday, the Commissioner of Police told officers to stay alert and always act professionally. He urged them to treat the public with courtesy and respect.
He warned against any form of abuse or harassment. He emphasized that policing should show compassion and follow human rights standards strictly.
The CP instructed that officers should always dress properly, look smart, and behave in a way that shows the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.
He praised the hard work of the officers but reminded them that the Command would not accept any misconduct or complaints from the public.
The CP assured residents that under his leadership, the Command is dedicated to ensuring safety for lives and properties. He also asked the public to help the police by providing trustworthy and timely information.
