The Lagos State Police have found a suspected cannabis farm in Apapa and arrested two men. One of them is 49-year-old Thomas Razvickas from Poland, and the other is 36-year-old James Chisome, a Nigerian.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by SP Abimbola Adebisi, the police discovered the facility on November 2. This followed reliable information received by the police operatives.

Adebisi said that the team found a well-equipped indoor farm meant for growing, harvesting, and processing cannabis. “The discovery was made on 2nd November 2026 at about 08:15 hrs, following credible intelligence received by operatives of the command,” she said.

The two suspects were living at the property and were taken into custody after the discovery. Adebisi mentioned that they are currently being held by the police.

“The suspects are currently in police custody, where they have made confessional statements and are providing useful information to aid ongoing investigations,” she added.

The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, Tijani Fatai, visited the site to see the facility and get updates on the investigation. He praised the officers for their alertness and intelligence-driven work.

Fatai emphasized the police's dedication to fighting drug-related crimes and breaking down criminal networks. He also encouraged residents to keep sharing useful information with the police, assuring them that the command will actively work to reduce crime in the state.
