StarTimes Nigeria has announced it will show all 104 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 live. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Fans across Nigeria can watch every match of this major football event.
Oke Umurhohwo, the Marketing Director at StarTimes Nigeria, shared the company's aim. He wants to make sure every Nigerian football fan can enjoy the tournament, no matter where they are or how much money they have.
"The FIFA World Cup is more than just football; it is a shared experience that unites families, friends, viewing centres, and communities," Umurhohwo said.
StarTimes is excited to broadcast all 104 matches live. They will also reward subscribers with prizes, including a grand prize of N10 million.
The company's campaign, “Watch the World Cup. Win Big,” will run during the tournament. Subscribers can win prizes worth a total of N50 million. The grand prize winner will get N10 million during a live draw on the final match day, July 19, 2026.
Other rewards include seven StarTimes H30 Solar Home Systems and fourteen StarTimes S130b Solar TV bundles. Each bundle comes with a built-in decoder and a 32-inch television.
Subscribers can enter the promotion automatically. They need to buy and activate a new StarTimes DTH or DTT decoder, renew or reactivate eligible bouquets, or purchase and activate a StarTimes S130b Solar bundle. The campaign runs from June 1 to July 19, 2026.
To make watching the tournament easier, StarTimes has also announced special discounts on World Cup decoders. These discounts will be available from May 18 to July 31, 2026. Many decoder packages and accessories will have lower prices, allowing more Nigerians to enjoy the tournament.
Umurhohwo noted that the company’s Basic Bouquet starts at just N4,000. This makes it cheaper than ever for football fans to catch the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Subscribers can also stream matches on the StarTimes ON app using smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs. With live coverage, affordable subscription options, discounted decoder packages, and exciting rewards, StarTimes wants to give football fans across Nigeria an unforgettable FIFA World Cup experience.
