Nigeria’s representative at Miss Globe 2026, Tracy Richards, has made it to the top 11 finalists at the beauty pageant held in Phuket, Thailand.
The beauty queen won the Head-to-Head Challenge and placed in the top 25 in the talent competition at the 23rd edition of the pageant, which finished on Friday, November 6, 2026.
Richards was one of 52 contestants from various countries competing for the crown at Siam Niramit under the theme, “Beauty in Unity.” Việt Nam’s Nguyễn Thu Thảo took home the crown, while Thailand’s Suttida Iadpoo and Ukraine’s Mariia Zheliaskova came in as first and second runners-up.
Richards comes from Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area in Imo State.
She is a high-fashion model, a kindergarten teacher and an entrepreneur who co-owns a modelling agency.
Richards, who speaks multiple languages, has traveled to over 30 countries. These experiences have helped her in modelling and international pageantry.
Besides modelling, Richards wants to create more chances for children in underserved communities through her advocacy project, Open Horizons.
This project aims to give children in underserved areas of Lagos access to mentorship, education and hands-on learning through after-school programs and educational trips.
It is based on the idea that exposing children to new experiences can help shape their dreams and futures.
After her performance, Tracy’s team posted on Instagram on Friday to celebrate her top 11 finish and thank Nigerians who supported her during the competition.
“From the moment she stepped onto the international stage in Phuket, Thailand, Tracy carried the Nigerian spirit, grace and determination with pride. What a journey, what a beautiful representation, and what an achievement to celebrate!” the team shared.
They also thanked everyone who voted and supported her, saying, “To everyone who voted, supported, encouraged and stood behind her throughout this journey, THANK YOU.”
The team added, “Tracy, you made Nigeria proud. Your journey does not end here, and your light will continue to shine.”
Her top 11 finish, Head-to-Head Challenge win and top 25 placement in the talent section made her one of the standout contestants this year.
