20 important points from the EPL after matchweek four

The 2026/27 Premier League season kicked off on Friday, August 21. Champions Arsenal faced newly promoted Coventry City. The season will end on Sunday, May 30, 2027. This season has 380 matches spread over 33 weekends and five midweek rounds.

After four matchweeks, we are starting to see how things are shaping up. Arsenal and Manchester City both have perfect records with four wins each. Seven teams are still unbeaten.

On the flip side, five clubs are still looking for their first win. Tottenham and Coventry have not scored any goals yet.

The next round starts on Friday, September 18, with Brentford taking on Chelsea. The last matches of Matchweek 5 will take place on September 20.

This round is the final one before the Premier League's first international break of the season. The break will start on September 21 and last until October 6.
