Barcelona Set to Announce Raphinha's New Contract Until 2030

Barcelona will officially announce club captain Raphinha’s new long-term deal on Thursday. This new contract will keep the Brazilian forward at the club until 30 June 2030.

The documents were signed in early October, and all terms got approval from the player, his agents, and the club.

Fabrizio Romano shared on X on Wednesday, “Barcelona, set to unveil Raphinha’s new deal until June 2030 after documents were already signed early October.

“All set also with Raphinha’s new agents to announce and confirm a longer deal for the captain.”

This extension adds two more years to his previous contract, which was set to end in 2028.

Sporting director Deco first mentioned they had an agreement during the club’s general assembly in mid-September. He stated that Raphinha would stay for the next four years.

They will finalize the administrative details in the coming weeks. Raphinha’s new agents will also help confirm this longer commitment.

The timing shows Raphinha’s importance as one of Barcelona’s key players under Hansi Flick.

The 29-year-old was named club captain and has been performing well this season. He has made significant contributions in both La Liga and the Champions League.

His consistency, leadership, and goal-scoring have made it a priority for the Catalan side to secure his future.

Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022 and has become a central figure at the club.

This new contract means he will continue to wear the Blaugrana shirt well into the next decade. This provides stability in the attack and the dressing room as the team develops under Flick.
