Barcelona have agreed with Arsenal to sign Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus permanently.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared this news on his X account on Sunday.
Romano said Barcelona will pay a €10 million package plus add-ons for the 29-year-old forward.
He mentioned that Jesus is set to travel to Spain after getting the go-ahead from Arsenal.
Romano wrote, "Gabriel Jesus and Barcelona, deal until June 2028 plus option and package over €10m to Arsenal.
“The agreement also includes an option to extend for an extra year, until 2029.
“Gabriel immediately said yes to Barcelona, seen by the Brazilian as a dream opportunity.
“Arsenal authorised his travel on Monday."
This transfer is a late-window move for Barcelona manager Hansi Flick. He has been looking for a centre-forward since Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres left for Paris Saint-Germain in August 2026.
Barcelona had also wanted Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez but could not get him because the Spanish club did not want to sell.
If the deal is finalised, Jesus will bring his Premier League experience and proven goal-scoring skills from his time with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and his recent years at Arsenal.
