Former Fenerbahce striker, Serdar Dursun, has raised questions about whether Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has the skills needed to thrive at Barcelona. He acknowledged Osimhen's talent after a great season with Galatasaray, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
Osimhen ended the 2025/2026 season with 22 goals and eight assists in all competitions. He played a key role in helping Galatasaray defend their Super Lig title. His impressive form has sparked rumors about a possible transfer this summer. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in him.
While speaking on the Cup Diary programme on Spor Smart, Dursun said he believes Osimhen's playing style does not fit Barcelona’s approach. He expressed concerns about Osimhen’s technical skills.
“I don’t think Osimhen can play for Barcelona. Osimhen is a talented player, but he doesn’t have a clean technique,” Dursun said, as reported by Fanatik.
These comments come as Barcelona is reportedly looking at Argentine forward, Julian Alvarez, instead of Osimhen. This has added to the uncertainty surrounding Osimhen’s future.
As pre-season training for the new campaign gets closer, the former Napoli striker is expected to share more about his plans soon. Interest in him continues to grow across Europe.
