Pisa, an Italian Serie B team, is ready to sell Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi for between €8m and €10m this summer. Turkish club Trabzonspor is showing strong interest in the 23-year-old player.

According to the Italian news outlet SestaPorta, Pisa is willing to let Durosinmi go even though he is under contract until 2030. The club has reduced its asking price from his earlier €18m release clause.

Trabzonspor sees Durosinmi as a possible replacement for another Nigerian player, Paul Onuachu. Onuachu is getting attention from Al Ahli, a club in the Saudi Pro League.

Trabzonspor, the Turkish Cup winners, may lose their top scorer. They have reportedly turned down two bids from Al Ahli, one of which was worth €20m.

Onuachu had a fantastic season. He scored 26 goals in 36 games and topped the scoring charts in the Turkish Super Lig. At 32 years old, Trabzonspor might decide to sell him if they get a better offer.

Durosinmi joined Pisa from Czech team Viktoria Plzen in January for about €9m. He had a good first half of the season, scoring 13 goals in 30 matches.

But his time in Italy has not been great. He has only scored one goal since joining Pisa, and the team was relegated to Serie B.

Even with this rough start, Durosinmi is still well-regarded. He had a strong record at Viktoria Plzen, where he scored 35 goals and made 10 assists in 86 games.

Trabzonspor's interest in Durosinmi may depend on whether Onuachu leaves. The Turkish club will likely make a move for Durosinmi once they have the funds available.

Ertuğrul Doğan, the president of Trabzonspor, has confirmed that there have been offers for Onuachu. Reports from Turkey say that coach Fatih Tekke is looking to change his attack to include a faster striker who fits his high-pressing game.

A transfer to Trabzonspor might give Durosinmi a chance to return to top-flight football. It could also help him rebuild his career after a tough time in Italy.
