Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha, known as Real Warri Pikin, has bagged the Best Stand-Up Comedian award at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards.
She shared the news on her Instagram page on Sunday. She celebrated her win at the awards event that took place in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday.
“We won #afrimma Best Stand-up Comedian 2026,” she wrote.
Real Warri Pikin took the award over other Nigerian comedians like Basketmouth, Bovi, and Godfrey. She also beat Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, South African Trevor Noah, Uganda’s Patrick “Salvado” Idringi, and Kenya’s Ty Ngachira.
The African Muzik Magazine Awards, also known as AFRIMMA, happened on September 12, 2026. The venue was Annette Strauss Square, located in the AT&T Performing Arts Centre area in Dallas, Texas.
