Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo, known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke, has stated that she supports politicians for money. She asked people not to insult or criticize her if they see her with political figures.
The actress shared her views in an interview with African A-List. The interview was uploaded on Sunday on YouTube and seen by PUNCH Online on Tuesday. She talked about Nigerian politics and whether she would take money to support a politician.
Oshodi-Oke expressed that she does not want to discuss Nigerian politics, which she called "dirty." She emphasized that she is not telling people who to vote for.
"Nigerian politics is dirt so I do not want to talk about it. So I do not want to talk about it. I am not saying you should not vote for whoever you want to vote for," she said.
When asked if she would accept money to endorse or support a politician, the actress explained that people should see it as a way for her to earn a living.
"If you see me behind any politician, anybody, just see it as if she is looking for something to put food on the table. Just leave, let her eat. Do not insult or drag me," she said.
