To mark its 13th anniversary, SBI Media held a health outreach in Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos. They gave out free glasses for presbyopia to many residents.

This outreach was part of the celebrations for the agency’s 13-year journey. It shows SBI Media’s promise to offer real value beyond just business and to use its growth to help local communities.

The initiative aimed to help people with age-related vision problems. The glasses make daily tasks like reading, working, writing, and using phones easier.

SBI Media has spent over ten years helping brands connect with their audiences. This outreach shows the agency’s goal of making a real impact beyond just business.

“This anniversary allows us to reflect on our achievements, but more importantly, to evaluate how we can create meaningful value outside our business,” said Rotimi Bankole, MD/CEO of SBI Media Group.

“We wanted our 13th year to be marked by purposeful action, and supporting the Kosofe community is a direct expression of that commitment,” he added.

One beneficiary shared their gratitude: “I’m happy SBI Media came to our community. The health check and glasses were very helpful, and I’m grateful for the support.”

For Taiwo Talabi, PR Manager at SBI Media, this initiative is part of their belief in meaningful engagement.

“Our work is fundamentally about people, and we wanted the anniversary to reflect that. We didn’t want to simply celebrate 13 years within our offices or with our clients and partners; we wanted to take the celebration to a community and create something people could genuinely benefit from. The turnout and the response from the Kosofe community showed us how much value there is in CSR initiatives that address real needs. It was a meaningful way to celebrate our journey and give back.”

Since starting 13 years ago, SBI Media has grown from a Lagos-based agency into a global partner with presence in Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia. Today, they offer services like media planning and buying, experiential marketing, public relations, digital marketing, creative strategy, content production, influencer marketing, and talent management.

The agency has also adapted to the fast-changing world of communications. They are using new technologies and responding to changing consumer habits. Their use of AI-driven insights and audience intelligence shows their focus on helping brands deal with a complex marketing world.

SBI Media believes growth is not just about expanding business or getting awards. They think real growth should also create ways to help society in meaningful ways.

As SBI Media starts its next chapter, this anniversary outreach shows their commitment to linking business growth with community development through Corporate Social Responsibility.
