Arsenal has claimed victory over Chelsea in their Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. The final score was 2-1.
Chelsea started strong, taking the lead just 2 minutes into the game. New player Morgan Rodgers scored with a volley.
In the 12th minute, Arsenal thought they equalized, but the Video Assistant Referee ruled Konsa offside.
Former Chelsea player Kai Havertz finally got the equalizer for Arsenal in the 25th minute. He received a pass from Declan Rice, moved to the right, and sent a low shot towards the near post.
Just five minutes into the second half, club captain Martin Odegaard scored the winning goal for Arsenal, last season's champions. Havertz played a dummy on the ball, allowing Christos Tzolis to set up Odegaard, who smashed it home.
With this victory, Mikel Arteta's team has gained a perfect nine points from their first three matches. They are currently second in the league, just behind Manchester City, but equal on points.
Chelsea sits in fourth place on the table with six points. They won their first match 3-2 against Fulham and followed it up with a 4-3 victory at home against Brighton.
