Milan and Juventus Bounce Back with Home Victories

AC Milan and Juventus got back to winning ways in Serie A on Sunday. Fiorentina held Napoli, while Como faced a surprising loss to Frosinone.

Milan beat Lecce 3-0 at the San Siro. Christian Pulisic scored his first goal for Milan this season. He found the net in the 14th minute with a great finish after controlling a long pass with his first touch.

Adrien Rabiot added another goal after a nice team move in the second half. Substitute Diego Moreira also scored, making it his third goal in just two league matches.

This win took some pressure off Milan's coach Ruben Amorim. His team had not won in three matches across all competitions, which had slowed their early season momentum.

Milan climbed to fifth place with 11 points, just two points behind the leaders Roma, Inter, and Lazio. Lecce sits in 12th place with six points.

Juventus also returned to winning form with a 2-0 home victory over Atalanta. Francisco Conceicao and Gleison Bremer scored for Juve on either side of half-time.

Juve had only managed one point in their last two league matches. They took the lead in the 28th minute when Conceicao netted his first goal of the season with a low shot.

Both teams had chances in the second half. Both goalkeepers had to make important saves, and Juve striker Randal Kolo Muani even cleared a shot off the line.

Bremer secured the win by scoring with a header from a corner 13 minutes before the end. This result moved Juventus up to 10 points and handed their former coach Maurizio Sarri a third straight defeat.

Atalanta, who brought in Sarri from Lazio, Chelsea, and Napoli over the summer, now sits 11th in the table with six points.
