Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and his wife, actress Temi Otedola, have shared that they spoke to nine doctors across different countries while getting ready for their first child.
They revealed this during a recent episode of their podcast, which started trending on Tuesday. In the episode, they discussed their pregnancy journey and what they did to prepare for their baby's arrival.
The couple felt it was important to consult multiple doctors because they were not sure about the country where they would have their baby.
In a popular video from the podcast, Mr Eazi explained their decision to seek different medical opinions. He said, "Why exactly do we see nine doctors? Nine doctors because to give you options, not just that, because we didn’t know where we were going to be. Which country? We didn’t know which country we were going to decide on. I wanted Japan."
Mr Eazi even mentioned that he thought about having the baby in Japan and had started looking up Japanese names for their child.
Temi reacted to this idea with a laugh, playfully rejecting it. She said, "By the way, he’s also been looking at Japanese names and I’m like no, absolutely not."
The couple first announced they were expecting a child in May after finding out about the pregnancy during their honeymoon in Asia.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025.
