Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh, the wife of popular radio presenter Teddy Don-Momoh, has died.
She was 42 years old.
PREMIUM TIMES reported earlier that Teddy Don-Momoh married Lara, a certified relationship expert, in 2023. This was nine years after his first wife, gospel star Kefee, passed away in a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June 2014.
Lara’s family shared the sad news on her Instagram page on Monday.
They said she died peacefully after a brief illness on July 30.
The family’s statement read: "From the Family of Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh.
"After a brief illness, Coach Lara passed away peacefully. During this deeply painful time, we humbly ask for privacy and prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul, and for all who mourn this immeasurable loss."
Funeral details
The family mentioned they will share the details of her funeral arrangements and other related matters soon.
"We sincerely thank everyone for the love, support, prayers, and understanding extended to the family during this difficult time."
Lara’s passing comes just weeks after she and her husband welcomed their first child together.
Lara worked as a cognitive behavioural therapist and founded Lara Kudayisi International, a therapy organization.
She was known as the “Matchmaking Mistress” and wrote two books, “How the Matchmaker Marriage Failed” and “What’s Wrong with My Taste in Men.”
She also released an audiobook titled “21 Days Healing Devotional.”
