Veteran Nigerian singer Daddy Showkey has shared his disappointment over the long fight between twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square. He believes their disagreement has damaged what he calls Africa’s biggest music brand.
In an interview with Goldmyne TV that went viral on Saturday, Daddy Showkey said the fallout from the brothers’ quarrel goes beyond just them. Their massive fan base has been affected by their issues over the years.

“P-Square destroyed the biggest brand that Africa produced. P-Square isn’t for them alone,” he said.
Daddy Showkey emphasized that entertainers owe their success to their fans. He believes they should think about the public when making big choices that impact their careers.
He shared his own experience in the industry, saying, “As an entertainer I can decide to lock myself in my room and celebrate my 50 years on stage. I am celebrating because it is the people that made me Daddy Showkey.”
He continued, “If the people have made you, you are not considering them but considering how much you guys are making.”
Daddy Showkey cautioned that the long-term effects of the brothers’ feud might show up later. He urged them to settle their differences and maintain their bond as siblings.
“Dragging themselves like this, the future will tell. No matter what, you guys are brothers. No matter what, you should look for a place to resolve things because you have children,” he said.
He added that if the feud continues, it could impact their children in the future.
“Tomorrow you will carry this beef to your children,” he explained.
These comments come as the dispute between Peter and Paul continues, alongside their older brother Jude Okoye, who used to manage them.
The brothers’ disagreements have kept the public’s attention, with fans and people in the music industry consistently calling for them to reconcile.
